Aazhimala Beach
Resort is located at a distance of 24 kms from the Trivandrum International Airport and reached by road by a 30 minutes drive passing through Kovalam the renowned tourist spot and on the way to
Poovar.
The place abounds in emerald green of the swaying coconut palm leaves and takes on myriad hues of lusty colours from dawn to dusk.
The area of the resort is 1.05 acres of reclining hilly terrain sloping down in terraced gardens to a depth of about 50 meters to the wide beach centered on either side with rock formations to provide an exclusivity to it.

Accommodation
The resort consists of 16 independent twin cottages with ecofriendly thatch roofing and mud plasters exterior walls with modern comforts which guest look to for a fine holiday. The cottages offer A/c or Non A/c options. All rooms face the open sea and a fine beach head. Landscaped surroundings for that green clean elegance of pristine purity and salubrious air. Accessibility to exclusive wide beach with white sand extending to the sea Sun bathing with beach wear can be done under canopy in solitude. Our mud plastered cottages rich specimens of relax with nature, spotting antique, buildings are the resemblance of Kerala architecture and enjoy the holidays on the sandy beach and lush greenery.

- Sirovasthi
Special herbal oils, are poured in a cap fitted on the head for 15 - 60 minutes.
Indication : Facial paralysis, headache, vatha originated diseases etc.
- Pizhichil
Lukewarm herbal oils are dripped all over the body by 2-3 trained technicians in a special rhythmic way for about 60 - 90 minutes.
Indications: Hemiplegia, Paralysis, Rheumatic complaints joint
stiffness, Nervous disordered etc.
- Gnavarakizhi
It is a process by which the whole body or any specific part is made to
perspire by the application of certain medicated rice pudding externally in the form of boluses tied up in a muslin bag.

- Dhara
Some herbal oils, medicated milk, medicated buttermilk etc., are poured on the forehead in a special way for about 45 minutes.
Indication: Insomnia, mental tension, vatha predominated diseases.
- Vasthi
Certain herbal oils, herbal extracts etc., are applied
through the rectum
Indication : Arthritis, paralysis, gastric complaints, rheumatism etc.

- Udvarthanam
This is a typical massage with herbal powder for about 30 minutes.
Indication : Paralysis, obesity, rheumatic aliments etc.
- Snehapanam
Medicated ghee is given internally in a proportionally increasing quantity for a period of 8 days with special diet. (Preparatory process for doing
Panchakarma)
Indication : Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, skin diseases etc.
- Nasyam
This is one of the important treatment in Panchakarma in which herbal juices, medicated oils etc., are applied through nose.
Indication : Headaches mental disorders, skin diseases etc.
- Lepam
Special medicated herbs are made into paste and is applied on the body or part of the body for 20 - 90 minutes
Indication : Skin diseases, muscular injury, atrophy, brain diseases, insomnia varicosity etc

- Kizhi
Leaves, herbs, herbal powder, fleshes of animal etc., are applied to the whole body in boluses with hot medicated oils.
Indication : Arthritis, spondylosis, sports injuries,
muscular atrophy etc.
- Abhyangam
In this treatment gentle oil massage is given according to the disease for 45 minutes.
Indication : Obesity, lack of blood circulation etc.
