Diabetic
Neuropathy
Damage to one or more of the peripheral nerve cause by diabetic
mellitus. Numbness, Pain, which is often worse at night, muscle
weakness and wasting are the symptoms.

Trigeminal
Neuralgia
Severe pain on one side of the face due to compression,
inflammation or damage to the trigeminal nerve. Repeated bursts
of sharp stabbing pain in the lip, gum, check on one side of the
face.
Sciatica
Pain in the buttocks and down the back of the leg, occurring
when the sciatic nerve is compressed or damaged. Pain is made
worse by movement or by coughing.

Vericose
veins
Visibly swollen and distorted veins that lie just beneath the
skin mainly in the legs. Aching or pain in the effected leg
especially after prolonged standing or walking.
Facial palsy
Weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles on one side of the
face due to damage to one of the facial nerves, partial or
complete paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face, pain
behind the ear on the effected side of the face, drooping of the
corner of the mouth, some times associated with drooling,
inability to close the eye-lid side and watering of the eye.
Impairment of taste. Muscle weakness. |

Rheumatic
arthritis
The joint lesions are migratory, large joints are effected,
effusion is prominent.
Psoriasis
Patches of red, thickened, scaly skin, often effecting many
areas of the body.
Gout
Several joints may be effected in gout. The joints become
constantly painful and swollen. Serum uric acid level increases.
Osteoarthritis
Gradual degeneration of the cartilage covering the bone ends
within joints. Pain and tenderness that worsen with activity and
relieved on rest. Swelling around the joint. Restricted joint
movement.
Cervical spondylosis
Degeneration of bone and cartilage in the neck, which may lead
to pain and stiffness. Restricted neck movement that may be
painful at the back of the head. Aching or shooting pain that
travels from shoulder to hand. Numbness, tingling and muscle
weakness in arms.
Lumbar spondylosis
Low back pain especially aggravated by coughing and sneezing.
Special treatments
Special treatment are available also for back pain, obesity,
rheumatic diseases, respiratory problems, asthma, piles, general
weakness and chronic headache. |

Panchakarma
The aim of treatment is to eliminate the internal causative factors of the disease which is due to wrong body habits, incompatible combinations of food, suppression of the natural urges and emotional imbalances etc. Various therapeutic procedures are used to facilitate the elimination of such harmful factors. Panchakarma is the therapeutic means of eliminating impurities from the body. It is a series of five therapies or steps, which help to remove deep-rooted stress and impurities from the physiology by balancing the doshas, ie: those energies or forces that govern all biological functions. There are five cleansing procedures or sodhanas in Panchakarma.

Abhyangam
Abhyangam or oil massage is a special type of oil massage in which oil strokes are given according to the circulatory channels for 45 minutes per day for 14 days. The treatment is very effective for obesity, loss of skin luster, sleeplessness, fatigue and other vata predominant diseases. |

Pizhichil
Lukewarm herbal oils are applied all over the body. It helps to tone up the skin, muscles and tendons. The impurities in the blood are evaporated. It is good for relieving muscular pain, nervous weakness, sexual weakness and joint stiffness, as well as arthritis and rheumatic complaints.
Elakizhi
Herbal leaves, scraped coconut and pieces of lemon are mixed and put in a cotton pouch. Medicated herbal oil is prepared separately. This pouch is dipped in warm medicated herbal oil and applied on the body.
Medicinal steam bath
Herbal leaves and other medicinal powders are boiled in high
temperature and the steam is administered on the patient who is
seated in an air tight box, for various durations, depending
upon individual medical requirements. The medicinal steam
evaporates the impurities in the body. it reduces fat and
improves the tone of skin and muscles. |

Udvarthanam
This treatment is otherwise known as "powder massage". This is
found very effective for obesity, hemiplegia, paralysis, skin diseases,
impaired blood circulation etc. and similar kapha predominant diseases.
In this procedure, two therapists apply special herbal powders in a
peculiar way on the body for about 30 to 40 minutes daily, for a period
of 14 to 28 days.

Sirovasthi
Luke warm herbal oil is poured in a cape fitted on the head. It
is effective for the treatment of head ache, dryness of
nostrils, mouth and throat.
Kadivasthi
In this process, specially prepared warm medicated oil is kept
over the lower back with herbal paste boundary. This treatment
lasts for 45 minutes to 1 hour and it is good for any type of
back pain and spinal disorders.

Njavarakishi
Special type of rice, processed with herbal decoction and milk
is fitted in cloth pouches and applied on the body. It is
effective for strengthening muscles and nerves.
Sirodhara
It is a very special method, wherein forehead is treated with
incessant flow of herbal oils, medicated milk or butter milk. It
relieves the patient from mental tension, insomnia and certain
skin diseases.

Facilities
We offer A/C cottage, two different types of fully furnished A/C rooms
and two different types of non A/C rooms for stay. We provide wholesome
vegetarian food, cooked by us.
Yoga class are provided for patients on demand. Besides there is
facility for swimming in the river. Boating also can be done.
We manufacture our own quality medicines under strict supervision and
quality control. The rare herbal ingredients are collected from various
places and the unique formulations are manufactured as prescribed in the
