founded by Mr. E.P Vasudevagurukkal was born and brought up in the land of kalarippayattu and marmma treatment of Northern Kerala. He finally set up his Ayurveda panchkarma education and treatment centre at Kaduthruthy - a small village near Vikom 50 kilometers away from Cochin, way back in 1959.

Ancient times Ayurveda had different categories and different traditions Kerala. Kalari Chikilsa is one of such unique tradition. Kalarippayattu the superb martial art form of Kerala has developed a scientific and systematic massage therapy based on Ayurveda. Unlie other martial arts Kalarippayattu blends the indigenous medical science Ayurveda in the learning process. This traditional system of treatment is "Kalari Chikilsa". Traditionally the master of Klarippayattu were known as "gurukkal" amoung those who practice.
