- GEMS Hospital, Mavelikara, was dedicated to serve the public on 1st March
1982
by establishing itself as a charitable hospital.
Situated in a total of more than three acres land, in the central part of
Mavelikara town near Railway station, Bus Stand and other facilities.
Hospital has grown to 150 - bed capacity, with staff strength of 10 doctors and more than 70
nursing, paramedical staff. Lakhs of patients have already been treated and cured during the course of the eventful history of the GEMS
Hospital. |

founded by commissioner P. E. George. Salvation
army is a company registered as a charitable non - profit
organisation. The main objective of the hospital is to provide the
best care to all patients irrespective of their financial
position. Gems Hospital has being working under the leadership of
Mr. C. George (Chairman, GEMS Foundation) for the last 25 years in
Mavelikara, Alappuzha district. |
